Gradasi warna laut ini bisa dilihat ketika cuaca cerah atau panas di lokasi objek wisata tersebut. Tentu, yang khususnya di akhir pekan, banyak wisatawan yang berswafoto dengan background laut. Salah satu warga setempat, Agus Supendi, mengatakan bahwa memang warna laut di sekitar Pantai Karapyak sangat unik. "Katanya, warna lautnya aneh dan unik," ucap Agus. Satu karyawan di Teras Kaca Karapyak Valley, Rindi Antika, mengatakan, di tempat kerjanya biasa banyak wisatawan yang berswafoto di siang hari. "Karena, suasana warna langit dan awannya itu selalu mendukung. Terus, warna lautnya juga bagus. Jadi, pemandangan pantainya sangat indah," ujarnya.
